Interact Clubs

Our club sponsors the Interact Clubs at the following high schools:

Interactors, similar to Rotarians, provide service to others and each year they take part in the “Purple Pinky” fundraiser to raise money towards eradicating polio.  Each student who donates $1 (the cost of a polio vaccination) will get their pinky painted purple, as is done in foreign countries as a symbol of having received the vaccine.

Interact clubs at Riverton, Herriman, and Juan Diego High School also assist the Draper-Riverton Rotary Club of Utah in our annual Dictionary Project, where we have given thousands of dictionaries to third graders in the Draper, Riverton, Bluffdale, and Herriman communities.
